Recovery, Ohio, J&M has consistently provided innovative, dependable, and high quality products to farmers throughout the United States and Canada, as well as overseas.

This cart design utilizes a single auger that provides 100% visibility of the auger while unloading and equally important 100% visibility during the folding sequence. A corner auger sump design also provides superior cleanout. Innovative options, like our patented Hydraulic Flow Control Spout, Electronic Scales, Dual Wheels, Tracks and Roll Tarp continue to make the J&M Front-Folding Auger Cart one of the most demanded carts on the market today. Our grain carts have grown in size and unloading speed – up to 1,500 bushel capacity with a 22″ diameter unloading auger, delivering over 600 bushels per minute.

Today, along with gravity wagons and grain carts, our product line up includes bulk and pro-box seed tenders, soil conditioners, header transports as wells as bolt-together products for container shipment. No matter what product you choose, you can be assured that our products are built to handle your toughest demands year after year.

Kill Brothers

Brotherly Beginnings

Kill Brothers began when brothers Luke and William opened a small welding and radiator shop in Delphos, Ohio during World War II. Shortly after the war’s end, brothers Richard and Linus, joined the business and they expanded by becoming a Case Farm Implement dealer and manufacturing towers for television antennas.

A Step Forward

This lasted until 1954, when they decided to turn to manufacturing something totally different, and developed a gravity grain box. With the growing market for grain boxes, they quickly established themselves exclusively as a farm equipment manufacturer, foregoing their other businesses. The manufacturing business quickly outgrew their downtown location and by 1964, a new plant was constructed west of Delphos to meet the growing demand.

Kill Brothers quickly became Killbros, and the trademark orange and blue color scheme of their gravity grain wagons soon became a common sight across the countryside during harvest. In 1972, they celebrated the manufacturing of their 100,000th gravity grain box. From there, they eventually expanded into two-wheeled grain carts, utility transports for hauling grain platforms and even into secondary tillage products.

Moving Into the Future

In 1993, Luke Kill, the only remaining brother, decided it was time to retire at the young age of 80 and began searching for buyers. Many companies showed interest, but Luke’s priority was to maintain the family-oriented philosophies and feel for his employees in the new buyer. Even though they were competitors for many years, Luke felt that the Unverferth family was the best suitor and the deal was inked.

Today, the Delphos facility continues producing a wide variety of quality farm equipment, including Killbros, Top Air, Unverferth, Parker and Brent products. In addition to the timeless tradition of orange grain boxes with blue gears, red and green Killbros grain carts and high-capacity wagons can now be seen across the countryside throughout harvest. The Killbros tradition of value and quality continues today in a wide variety of products.

Hustler

First We Changed Everything

Hustler® Turf Equipment was born of a simple need for a riding mower that could maneuver the irregular landscape of the family home, complete with bird baths, gardens and winding front walkways. The first Hustler® mower was a compilation of mower parts and farm machinery, created by a genius named John Regier. Mr. Regier’s mower cut grass and steered like no other. It could hug a flagpole or reverse directions at a fence line, with a turning radius of zero. With this, the world’s first zero-turn mower was born. And it changed everything.

History is Made

When Mr. Regier brought his design to tractor cab manufacturer Excel™ Industries, the timing was perfect. He couldn’t maintain the production demand on his own, and Excel™ was looking to expand its product line. When the folks at Excel™ saw the mower in action, they knew they had a product that would revolutionize the mowing industry. Under the direction of company president Roy Mullet, Excel™ began production of Hustler® mowers at its plant in Hesston, Kansas.

Innovation and Quality. That's How Hustler® Changed Everything

Since then, Hustler® has become one of the leading brands of outdoor power equipment. Across the globe, the Hustler® brand signifies innovation, strength, performance and superior customer care.
